Appropriate Orchestration

When the basic rhythm section is complete, your song is analyzed to determine what orchestration will best enhance your custom arrangement.

So often studios add generic strings and horns to a track in the interest of time and to save money. Even though this approach is fine for some, our goal is to create the string line or the horn line that complements the melody of your song.

Conversely, we commit not to "over orchestrate" your song. Studios often employ "over orchestrating" in order to cover up tracks that weren't cut that well in the first place.

It is always our goal to insure that each step of the recording process is done in excellence and that all orchestration complements instead of covering.

Each song has a unique message and a certain "personality", if you will.

The term appropriate orchestration means exactly what the song needs, no more, no less.
